Amanda Scheibert

Amanda is one of the first people our patients meet at Dr Rez Dental, but she’s not only our receptionist, she’s a friend to all and chief plant-waterer!

Making everyone feel welcome and heard comes naturally to Amanda, and she has a busy role, calling patients to book them in for appointments,  making sure the front of house is spotless because first impressions count, and supporting our dentists and nurses.

‍

Amanda always wanted a job where she can make a positive impact on someone else's day, but used to be nervous of the dentist, so can easily empathise with anxious patients. Making people feel calmer and more relaxed now comes naturally to her.

Amanda has worked in customer service since she was 16 and has been a translator, teacher, bartender and sales assistant. She’s worked in arts for a long time too, booking her first job at just 4 years old drawing little umbrellas for an umbrella company, and posing as a model for their catalogue.

Fun fact: Our Norwegian receptionist used to enter tournaments playing Super Smash Brothers Melee, her band played a concert at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, and the first word she ever learned to read was "sale" when she was 2 and a half years old!
