At Dr Rez Dental in Liverpool we understand that there is no such thing as ‘basic’ dentistry. That’s why we provide an unbeatable range of dental services to keep you smiling. We know that consistency is a vital part of dentistry care, so we provide the regular check-ups and hygienist appointments that you need to maintain your oral health.
We are proud of our advanced treatments, but we also value everyday general dentistry care just as highly. This helps prevent dental problems before they occur, with great emphasis on dental hygiene services that eradicate problems before they cause discomfort.
At our Liverpool practice we offer a range of comprehensive general dentistry services and oral health treatments, including:
Routine check-ups and examinations
X-rays and digital scans
Natural (white composite) fillings
Amalgam replacement
Crowns and bridges
Dentures
Extractions
Tooth filling
Regular dental check-ups at Dr Rez allow us to see if you have any dental problems and help you keep your mouth healthy. Leaving problems untreated could make them more difficult to treat in the future.
At each dental check-up, we will typically examine your teeth, gums and mouth. We will also ask about your general health and any problems you've had with your teeth, mouth or gums since your last visit. In addition, we may ask about (and give you advice relevant to your dental health) teeth-cleaning habits, your diet, smoking and alcohol use.
After your dental check-up, we will recommend a date for your next visit. The time to your next dental check-up could be as short as three months or as long as one year. Patients with good oral health will probably need to attend only once every six months, while those with more issues will need dental check-ups more often.
Going to Dr Rez is a five star customer experience. The level of professionalism and attention to detail is unrivalled, and a cut above any dental practise I’ve visited previously. From the moment you walk through the door at Dr Rez the staff are on hand to make you feel welcome and valued, and the overall service is exceptional. Highly recommend!

A filling is the first line of treatment for patients experiencing dental decay. In the past, fillings were made from either gold or a silver-coloured alloy called amalgam.
Although these materials are extremely durable, the main disadvantage is that they don’t match the natural white teeth in appearance. White fillings, also known as composite fillings, are made from a tooth-coloured material that restores the appearance of a previously filled tooth, giving your teeth a more natural look.
Using composite is a completely safe procedure that can be used for new fillings or to replace any old metal fillings to give your teeth a more natural overall appearance.
Amalgam has traditionally been used in dentistry to restore back teeth with fillings and from a functional point of view this has proved quite effective and durable.
Whether it’s for cosmetic considerations or because of an improved property such as bonding to the tooth structure, many patients are opting to replace Amalgam fillings. Contact Dr Rez Dental if you are concerned about your current fillings and we will talk you through your options.
Mouth cancer can occur in any part of the mouth, including the tongue, lips and throat. The proportion of deaths per number of cases of mouth cancer are higher than many other cancer types, due to a tendency towards late detection and a general neglect of oral health. Regular dental check ups and visits to a dental hygienist allow for early detection of abnormalities in the mouth. Contact us at once if you notice any abnormal problems or are uncertain about any element of your dental wellbeing.
Thousands of years ago, people used all sorts of things to clean their teeth - including twigs and bird feathers!
Thankfully, modern dental hygiene services are much more effective and comfortable with our advanced AIRFLOW® treatment. Regular visits to our experienced hygienists at our Liverpool dental practice help keep gum disease at bay and maximise your oral health.

X-rays are a very useful diagnostic tool, enabling your dentist to detect any problems with your oral health that are difficult to spot with the naked eye. At Dr Rez Dental Liverpool we use state-of-the-art X-ray and digital scanning equipment that puts patient comfort first. This equipment includes the iTero Digital Scanner. iTero looks like a small wand and is a great way of capturing 3D digital images of your mouth quickly and comfortably without any mess or discomfort. We also use iTero with our Invisalign® orthodontic treatment to show you what the end result of your treatment and new smile will look like.
We understand that maintaining dental health can be challenging with a busy schedule. That's why we offer late-night appointments on Thursdays and are open on Saturdays. We want to ensure that everyone has access to the dental care they deserve, at times that suit them.
While tooth removal is always the very last resort at Dr Rez Dental, many people do need to have a tooth removed at some time in their lives.
There are many reasons we may need to remove a tooth, including overcrowding. Sometimes a tooth may be too badly decayed or damaged to be repaired or gum disease can cause teeth to become so loose that they have to be taken out. Some people have to have their wisdom teeth removed, usually because they are growing in the wrong direction and are causing problems.
In many cases, continued toothache is a signal that you have a problem that your dentist will need to assess. Prompt attention can usually prevent the need for a tooth extraction. And if you do have to have a tooth removed, our dentists are highly skilled at restoring smiles, with a range of treatment options available including dentures and dental implants.
