Your journey begins with a free initial consultation with our treatment coordinator. Taking place over the telephone, video call, or in person to maximise convenience for you, this takes around 15 to 20 minutes, giving us enough time to gain an understanding of your dental needs. Before the end of the conversation, we'll arrange a time for your first in-practice appointment.
Smile assessment
We look forward to welcoming you to our Liverpool practice for your Smile Assessment. This one-hour appointment has a set fee of £95.50 and enables our dentist to thoroughly assess your oral health. Your dentist will examine your teeth and carry out a gum health check, oral cancer screening and take a full oral digital scan. The information gathered can then be used to put together a bespoke treatment plan, tailored to your unique needs. Your dentist will let you know if any restorative treatment is required before whitening, and determine your suitability for LUMIWHITE teeth whitening.
Collect your custom-made trays
Your full oral digital scan will be used to create your bespoke LUMIWHITE gel trays, designed to fit perfectly and comfortably. Once your trays are ready, you can return to the practice to pick them up along with the whitening gel. The dentist will demonstrate how to use them and provide clear instructions.
The LUMIWHITE treatment process at home
You’ll need to wear the trays as specified by your dentist, depending on your unique treatment plan, with the teeth whitening gel provided. During the treatment period, the active ingredients in the LUMIWHITE gel will safely pass through the enamel of your teeth, breaking down any stains.
Post-whitening review appointment
After completing your LUMIWHITE treatment you will return to Dr Rez Dental for a review of your treatment progress. At this appointment, we will check your current shade, take clinical photographs and then discuss current progress to date versus your treatment goals. We’ll also discuss an appropriate top-up regime with you to keep your smile sparkling white.
