After an initial consultation to determine your smile goals, overall oral health and suitability for dental veneers, your dentist will prepare your teeth by removing a small amount of dental enamel, so there is room for your new veneers to be placed over the top comfortably.

By investing in the latest state-of-the-art digital CEREC technology we are able to scan, craft and fit your new dental veneers all on the same day, with no need for a second appointment.
Dramatically speeding up a traditionally lengthy process and enabling you to leave Dr Rez Dental with a new smile on the same day, if you need a dental crown or veneer, your dentist can use CEREC 3D software to design it. The design is then sent to our in-house milling machine, which accurately creates your restoration from porcelain. No messy dental impressions or temperamental temporary fittings and less time out of your hectic schedule.
While whitening gels work well on your natural teeth, it doesn’t work on the porcelain veneer material. We recommend having your teeth whitened before your veneers are fitted, so that they can be matched to the shade of your teeth, for a natural appearance.
If they’re well taken care of, you can expect your dental veneers to last between five and 15 years before you need to replace them.
Porcelain dental veneers are very strong and bonded securely to your teeth so you can still eat most things. Be careful when eating hard foods and try to avoid anything that could potentially crack or damage your veneers.
