New patient journey at Dr Rez Dental

Your journey begins with a free initial consultation with our Treatment Coordinator. Taking place over the telephone, video call, or in person to maximise convenience for you, this takes around 15 to 20 minutes, giving us enough time to gain an understanding of your dental needs. Before the end of the conversation, we’ll arrange a time for your first in-practice appointment.

Some new patients may request an optional 30-minute consultation with a dentist. While the cost of this is reduced, at £35, patients are required to have a full Smile Assessment before any treatment could commence.

We look forward to welcoming you to our Liverpool practice for your Smile Assessment. This one-hour appointment has a set fee of £95 and enables our dental clinician to thoroughly assess your oral health. As well as discussing your dental history and any smile goals, your dentist will examine your teeth, looking for signs of any decay and existing restorations. They will also carry out a gum health check, oral cancer screening and take a full oral digital scan. The information gathered can then be used to put together a bespoke treatment plan, tailored to your unique needs.

Our treatment plan presentation is one of the elements that sets Dr Rez Dental apart, ensuring that our patients understand the dentist recommendations and can make an informed decision. During this 30-minute presentation with your dentist we will discuss your current oral health, and look at all the diagnostic images including X-rays, scans, and photos on a big screen. We’ll then discuss all your treatment options and present you with a smile simulation to show you what your teeth will look like after the treatment. Finally, we’ll discuss the cost and finance options available.
