Dental hygiene and therapy services for healthy smiles

At Dr Rez Dental in Liverpool we believe that good oral hygiene is essential for your dental health, as well as your overall well being. We would prefer to prevent dental problems from occurring in the first place, rather than fixing them when they happen. Our dental hygiene service is focused on maintaining the health of your teeth and gums. Our team will encourage you with tailored oral hygiene advice at each appointment to help you maintain your oral health, prevent dental decay, bad breath and tooth loss.

The secret to healthy gums

Gum health is the most important aspect of ensuring that you keep your teeth for life. At Dr Rez we are passionate about helping you create and maintain a happy, healthy smile.

Regular visits to Dr Rez for hygiene services will minimise the risk of tooth loss, reduce the risk of developing tooth decay and the need for fillings. And you won’t believe how clean and fresh your mouth will feel after experiencing our advanced AIRFLOW® EMS system.

Couldn't feel better looked after

Been a Dr. Rez patient for around 4 years now. From initially needing alot of work done to now just regular check ups and cleaning. I can confidently say it's been one of my best decisions. From being a very nervous patient to now quite enjoying my appointment (relatively anyway ha). Currently my therapist is Lilly, very ably assisted by Mel and they couldn't be more encouraging, thoughtful and nice. I get great advice and couldn't feel better looked after. Couldn't recommend more.

Keeping gum disease at bay

Periodontal disease (gum disease) affects the gums and bone supporting your teeth. It is caused by sticky plaque and hard deposits of tartar. This happens when teeth and gums are not kept clean enough (alongside many other factors).

Without regular cleaning, plaque sits in the space between the tooth and the gum which eventually will create pockets around the tooth where further plaque and tartar deposits can collect. Pockets are difficult to keep clean and gum disease will get worse if no treatment is carried out. The next stage of the disease will involve losing the bone that supports the teeth and teeth can be lost.

AIRFLOW® technology for a deep, gentle clean

At our Liverpool practice we use the latest in dental technology innovations to ensure your mouth is in tip-top health. AIRFLOW® EMS is a clever tooth polisher and teeth cleaning system that rejuvenates your smile and gives you an amazing shine!

An effective tooth stain remover, it’s more advanced than a traditional scale and polish and brightens the teeth using a combination of water, compressed air, and fine sodium bicarbonate.

If you have found your teeth are starting to discolour from things like tea, coffee and smoking, AIRFLOW® EMS is the perfect solution. AIRFLOW® targets discolouration and plaque that can’t be removed by any toothbrush. The additional benefit of AIRFLOW® EMS for anyone who is a little nervous of the dentist, is that it is a fast, safe and comfortable service that makes your teeth shine brighter than ever, in just 60 minutes!
