Dental Nurse
Melanie, or Mel, joined the Dr Rez family in 2019. As our Dental Nurse she takes good care of patients, prepares for appointments and assists our dentists and hygienists with treatments.
Melanie always knew that she wanted to be a nurse of some kind because she wanted to help people, and was recommended for a dental nurse apprenticeship while at college. Liking the sound of it, she gave it a go and she’s loved it ever since. Having qualified as a Dental Nurse in 2019, Melanie went on to achieve her Dental Radiography qualification in 2022.
It’s hard to pick just one proud career moment for Melanie, who loves seeing nervous patients become comfortable and confident with us. Witnessing how our patients’ confidence blooms after they have finished treatments such as orthodontics, smile makeovers, and dental implants is also always special.
Fun fact: Melanie has two bearded dragons named Rhonda and Pablo!
